What are our “Academic Field Focused Programmes”?

Our subject-focused programmes are designed with a focus on a specific academic discipline.

Participants visit various European cities that host top universities within the academic field they would like to pursue. In each location we organise comprehensive university visits featuring presentations, campus tours, workshops, and opportunities to engage with current students.

These experiences offer participants a genuine sense of student life and enable a deeper understanding of what each institution has to offer.

Who we dedicate them to

They are designed for upper secondary students who wish to study in Europe, have already decided on the academic discipline they would like to specialise in, but are not yet sure about the exact university choice.

Answers to Your Common Questions

Universities included in the itineraries are chosen for their excellence and relevance within the subject area. Each programme includes a mix of top-ranked and specialised universities to give students a comprehensive perspective.

We partner exclusively with four- and five-stars hotels situated in the most reputable and secure areas of each destination. All accommodations are carefully selected for their standards of quality, comfort, and safety. Room assignments are made by gender, taking into account students’ preferences to share accommodation with peers they are already acquainted with. In all cases, participants have the option to select either single or double occupancy. Edessence staff members are accommodated within the same facility, remaining readily available to the students at all times.

All transfers and excursions are arranged with highly rated, fully licensed transportation providers known for their reliability, professionalism, and strong safety record. Groups are accompanied throughout their travel by Edessence staff and local representatives to ensure comfort and supervision at every stage of the journey.

Students attend university presentations, campus-tours and faculty-led workshops. During university visits, they also interact with current students to better understand the every-day student experience.

Every group is accompanied at all times by Edessence staff and local representatives. A supervisor is assigned for a maximum of ten participants, ensuring appropriate guidance, oversight, and support throughout the programme.
