What are our “Group programmes”?

We partner with international high schools to assist them in enriching their list of academic offerings with programmes that support their upper secondary students in making a confident decision regarding their future academic choices. We support them in planning the most suitable immersive programmes for their students, based on their subjects and destinations of interest.

The programmes may take place during school holidays or throughout the academic year, groups having the opportunity to be complimentary accompanied by one teacher or school representative.

Who we dedicate them to

These programmes are dedicated to international high schools that are willing to take a step forward in supporting their students to make the right academic choices.

FAQS

Answers to Your Common Questions

The itinerary is created through a structured consultation process. Edessence works directly with the school’s team to identify academic interests, preferred destinations, universities of interest, and any institutional requirements. All activities, accommodations, and logistical arrangements are jointly reviewed and approved before their final inclusion in the itinerary.

Yes. Destinations and universities are selected according to the school’s preferences and the academic interests of its students. Edessence provides recommendations based on institutional reputation, academic offerings, campus environment and accessibility, and final selections are made in partnership with the school, subject to each university’s availability.

Our programmes generally range from one to three weeks, depending on the number of cities and universities included. The duration and timing are fully flexible and coordinated with the school’s academic calendar.

Every group is accompanied at all times by Edessence staff and local representatives. A supervisor is assigned for a maximum of ten participants, ensuring appropriate guidance, oversight, and support throughout the programme.

We partner exclusively with four- and five-stars hotels situated in the most reputable and secure areas of each destination. All accommodations are carefully selected for their standards of quality, comfort, and safety. Room assignments are made by gender, taking into account students’ preferences to share accommodation with peers they are already acquainted with. In all cases, participants have the option to select either single or double occupancy. Edessence staff members are accommodated within the same facility, remaining readily available to the students at all times.

All transfers and excursions are arranged with highly rated, fully licensed transportation providers known for their reliability, professionalism, and strong safety record. Groups are accompanied throughout their travel by Edessence staff and local representatives to ensure comfort and supervision at every stage of the journey.

Prior to the start of each program, Edessence requests a set of documents to ensure the safety and proper preparation of every participant. These include:

* A copy of the participant’s passport, valid for a minimum of six months following the commencement of the program.

* A medical information form - detailing any relevant health conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements.

* A parental consent form authorizing participation in all scheduled activities and travel.

* A valid travel insurance certificate

* Any additional authorization forms required for specific activities or destinations (e.g., photography consent, special medical needs, or mobility considerations).

Schools receive 24/7 contact details for Edessence staff, student assistants, and local representatives. Communication remains open and continuous throughout the trip.

Each high school works with a dedicated Edessence coordinator who assists with itinerary design, administrative preparation, communication with parents, and all logistical details. The coordinator remains available throughout the planning process and during the programme itself.
